Arrested Moroccan 'linked to September 11'

One of the Moroccans arrested in connection with the deadly Madrid bombings may have been one of those who actually placed the explosives on the trains. That is according to reports from Spanish radio SER. Three Moroccans and two Indians were arrested on Saturday in connection with the atrocities. The man in question - Zamal Zougam - is allegedly one of al-Qaeda's leaders in Spain and is apparently connected to the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington. His name also appears on investigatory documents drawn up by Spanish anti-terrorism judge Baltasar Garzon into al-Qaeda.
