Lithuania mulls bourse sell off next week

Lithuania may make a decision on privatizing the country's national stock exchange next week, the state property fund said Thursday. The sale would include the state's 44 percent stake and nearly 10 percent held by small shareholders. Norway's OMHEX stock exchange operator and a Polish consortium are said by industry analysts to be the main contenders in the tender. OMHEX is a major player in several Scandinavian bourses and is said to be particularly interested in extending its regional position.
