TDI to invest EUR 100 million in Central Europe

Trigon Direct Investments (TDI), the private equity fund set up by a Scandinavian investment bank Trigon Capital (TC), intends to invest up to EUR 100 million in Central and Eastern Europe, particularly in Poland, the fund's representatives have announced. TDI is particularly interested in medium-sized companies generating revenues of zł. 20-30 million and which are in the position of devising projects to achieve dynamic growth. This is good news for such companies as so far they had very limited access to such financing. "I expect that at least one third of the financial resources earmarked for the investments will be allocated in Poland," said TDI president Joakim Helenius.
