Czech current account deficit narrows

The Czech Republic's current account deficit narrowed to $67 million in February, official figures showed Wednesday. The figure represents a significant narrowing from January's $175 million deficit. Local analysts had forecast a deficit for February of around $100 million but said the data would probably not affect the crown, the Czech currency, which has recently been trading at six-week highs to the Euro, the currency of its key trading partners in the European Union.
