Lithuanian companies making military clothes overflowed with orders from NATO countries. Lithuanian military clothes and equipment making companies get lots of orders from NATO countries, which appreciate high quality of their products and speed of their work. Lithuanians also design new military clothing for extreme conditions. The flow of orders from NATO countries is increasing for Tuma, Skalmantas, Garlita and other Lithuania companies. Skalmantas is one of the companies, which has been producing military clothes for the ally troops in Iraq and together with partners from the UK have just signed a new 5 year contract for the yearly production of 2 million units of military uniforms and other military equipment like tents, sleeping bags, rucksacks, etc. “2 million units per year is a big quantity. Our company has proved a reliable partner as we are now the official supplier of the UK Defence Ministry”, says Edmundas Aniulis, Marketing Director of Skalmantas.
