Polish woman hostage freed in Iraq

A Polish woman who was kidnapped in Iraq more than three weeks ago has been released. Teresa Borcz-Khalifa, aged 54, appeared at a news conference in the Polish capital, Warsaw, together with Prime Minister Marek Belka. She said she had been treated well by her captors, who wanted Poland to withdraw all of its 2,500 troops from Iraq. The Polish prime minister refused to give any details about her release but did acknowledge receiving help from other countries. Ms Borcz is married to an Iraqi and has been living in Iraq for more than 30 years.
