Georgian parliament approves tax amnesty

The Georgian parliament has approved the bill on tax amnesty at a meeting today. As the press department of the parliament reported, entrepreneurs who file a declaration on their profits before the end of this year and transfer 1 percent on the non-declared earlier sum to the state budget are subject to the amnesty. The law prohibits investigations on financial and economic activities in the period till January 1, 2004, if a person has filed a declaration.
