In early March, at the conference and symposium held in Vilnius by the organization Open IPTV Forum (OIPF) and the group of companies Penki Kontinentai specialists of global companies such as Cisco, Motorola, Gemalto, Ericsson, Philips, and many others, discussed prospects of IP television (IPTV) and agreed upon the necessity of accelerating deployment of common IPTV standards. These and similar topics will be discussed in more detail in the course of one of the world’s largest Internet and communications technology exhibitions and conferences IP&TV World Forum 2012 to be held in London on March 20–22.
