A COMPANY “ASHBURN INTERNATIONAL” STARTED TO COOPERATE WITH “LIETUVOS DRAUDIMAS”

Published: 15 December 2013 y., Sunday

The company “ASHBURN International” (“ASHBURN”) has signed an agreement with the largest Lithuanian non-life insurance company AB “Lietuvos draudimas” on installation of new electronic card readers connected to barcode readers. 115 payment terminals were installed in customer service departments of the insurance company.

According to Director of the Business Development Department of “ASHBURN” Dominykas Mertinas, the introduced solution helps the insurer to attend customers in a more efficient and practical manner. “The solution implemented by us enables reading of an insurance policy number and amount to be paid using a barcode, and thereby allows customer service managers to attend customers faster. Moreover, electronic reader helps to avoid human factor related errors: the system enters the amount to be paid in accordance with the established criteria”, says D. Mertinas.

The aforesaid technical solution is versatile and can be installed in all companies wishing to accept payments for goods or services in a practical and expeditious manner as well as organize them automatically. “ASHBURN” has installed similar solutions in such insurance companies as “PZU Lietuva” and “Gjensidige Baltic”.
