A Successful Meeting between BS/2 and Wincor Nixdorf

Published: 23 February 2012 y., Thursday

In early February, a delegation from the BS/2 company, an international developer and vendor of intellectual software for the banking and retail sectors, made a business trip to Germany. In the city of Paderborn, the BS/2 representatives, along with partners and specialists from subsidiary companies from Kazakhstan, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, and Azerbaijan, participated in business meetings with representatives of the Wincor Nixdorf company.

At the meetings, the specialists from Wincor Nixdorf, one of the world's largest ATM and payment system manufacturer, presented CINEO, the most advanced new-generation technology for cash management, telling about its advantages. One of the event's main focus was on Cash Recycling XXL, a closed cash recycling system featuring four additional modules for cash storage; the system is designed for self-service terminals with large transaction streams. A closed cash processing system helps ensure the maximum safety of both funds and financial institution employees. In addition, the new system features the function of dispensing bills more of four different face values. With the first projects having been implemented, Cash Recycling XXL is already in use at a number of European banks.

The partners also discussed issues related to selling and supplying the German company's hardware. According to the BS/2 specialists, such meetings provide invaluable experience, useful for both parties and necessary when improving existing technologies and creating new ones on the basis of knowing the demands of this market area.

"During the visit, we and our partners discussed concrete issues related to the requirements of the modern market, shared the experience of cooperating with various European financial institutions that use BS/2 and Wincor Nixdorf products and solutions, and discussed our joint projects that have already been planned and prospects for further cooperation," said Paulius Bučelis, the head of BS/2's Sale Department.

Wincor Nixdorf and BS/2 have a long-standing and strong business relationship. In the past, the partners have implemented joint projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and their cooperation continues.
