ATM Security 2012 to focus on self-service device security

Published: 27 September 2012 y., Thursday

In early October, London will gather experts on ATM security. In the Victoria Park Plaza hotel, ATM Security 2012, an international conference on ATM security technology, will take place from October 2 to October 3. The event is organized by the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA), jointly with RBR (Retail Banking Research), an agency for strategic research and consulting in the area of retail banking.

During this two-day event, bankers, hardware manufacturers, and software developers will be discussing in detail the most common cases of fraud, learning about the latest methods of preventing and fighting crime, including biometric technology, cooperation with the police, satellite systems integrated with the devices, cybersecurity, and others. The conference will provide a wonderful opportunity to meet experts from all around the world, share opinions, and discuss current market conditions. The exhibition collocated with the conference will feature new security technologies, solutions, and services, which will be presented by the most well-known companies from various countries.

The conference is expected to attract 300 participants; the BS/2 company, which always actively participates in ATMIA-organized events, will be among them. BS/2's Denisas Korobkovas and Arturas Kurginianas will present ATMeye.iQ, a solution that complies with the PCI DSS and PA DSS international standards. This is a security module for self-service devices (ATMs, automated teller safes, payment terminals, and others). This module provides reliable protection against skimming, theft, attempts to break into the device or damage it in any other way. In addition, with its video monitoring and remote file management functionality, ATMeye.iQ provides a competitive advantage to the owners of self-service device networks: it helps cut security expenses, reduce the risk of fraud and vandalism, and ensures fast customer conflict resolution.

BS/2, a member of the Penki Kontinentai Group specializes in developing software for the banking and retail sectors, supplies self-service devices, provides services related to maintenance, system integration, and outsourcing. The company's all-in-one solutions are well-known and available in over 65 countries around the world.
