The annual BankExpo 2018 banking services, technologies and equipment exhibition will be held on April 19-21 in Tashkent for the 11th time. Visitors and guests will learn about the latest achievements and prospects of the banking development, new technologies and products.

BankExpo has proved itself as a solid platform for the banking IT services. The program of the forum includes a conference "Banking and Financial Sectors Digital Transformation" (InnoBanking.UZ), where participants will learn about innovative technological solutions and products for the banking and fintech markets, as well as e-commerce. Lithuanian group of companies Penki kontinentai is one of the few foreign BankExpo participants in 2018.

"Uzbekistan is one of our top priorities. This rapidly growing market attracts many foreign investors. No doubt, Uzbekistan is also interesting for us. We see its attractiveness and hope to expand our contacts with local businesses and banks," - said Emil Musayev, Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2) head of Sales Department.

According to Musayev, Uzbekistan actively invests in the electronic payment infrastructure and expands the possibility of making payments with plastic cards: in the first three quarters of 2017, electronic settlements totaled € 18 billion - an increase of 228.4% compared with the same period last year. The total number of cards issued by the banks of Uzbekistan is 20 million, of which 18 million are active.

The Common Republican Processing Center (CRPC) of Uzbekistan is one of the Penki kontinentai partners. It introduces the most advanced banking technologies and electronic payment instruments nationwide. Particularly the CRPC is responsible for UZCARD national payment system (to which 29 banks are connected) processing, transactions data privacy and security, and other related-functions.

At the end of last year, the CRPC representatives got acquainted with the banking technologies and card payments software products and solutions developed by BS/2 and ASHBURN International, which belong to the group. The guests were introduced to the multifunctional software solutions developed by BS/2 from the ".iQ" line, intended for complex business processes monitoring, optimization and management (Service Desk.iQ), cash management (Cash Management.iQ), ATS management (Smart Safe.iQ), as well as TransLink.iQ solution for transaction processing and POS terminal network management, created by ASHBURN International.
