Penki Kontinentai Corporate Film Wins the 2019 ATMmys International ATM Industry Marketing Awards

Published: 26 February 2019 y., Tuesday

A corporate film of Penki Kontinentai Group entitled “Technologies of Tomorrow Today” is the best video project of the first international ATMmys International ATM Industry Marketing competition. The winners were announced at the awards ceremony during the ATMIA conference, which was held February 19-21 in Orlando (Florida, USA). This significant event in the banking sector gave the opportunity to discuss the latest market trends for more than 1,200 representatives of the financial industry from around the world.

“Marketing plays an increasingly important role in the field of banking technology. It is not enough to develop innovative solutions. It is necessary to present it to the target audience and potential customers. This competition was created especially to recognize the hard work and creativity required to promote cash and ATM products and services to businesses and consumers.  Of course, the ATMmys award is very important for us,” says Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Penki Kontinentai Board.

The International ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) in collaboration with the ATMIA International Marketing Forum organized the competition. It focused on three major marketing categories: digital, content and video. The Penki Kontinentai Group competed with such eminent American corporations as FCTI, one of the largest ATM service companies in the United States, and Cardtronics, which manages the largest ATM network with more than 230,000 units.

“We are proud to be the only awarded foreign company. On the other hand, the experts’ assessment is not a surprise for us, because this video is the result of teamwork. Our employees, who create the technology of tomorrow with dedication and inspiration, took part in the filming of a corporate film,” says Idrakas Dadašovas.

The Penki Kontinentai film introduces the Group, the activity of each company and most significant achievements in the field of high technology and banking over the course of almost 30 years.

“Behind each technology are modern, free and open-minded people who create it. Not everyone understands what high-tech companies are doing, how innovations are being introduced. That is what we wanted to show in our film. Victory in the international competition is important not only for our Group, but also for Lithuania. It shows that small countries are actively competing in the creation of world-class technology,” says the Head of the Penki Kontinentai Communications Germanas Kavalskis.

Representatives of Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2), a part of the Penki Kontinentai Group, also participated in the 20th anniversary ATMIA US Conference. The company showcased developed by BS/2 innovative face recognition (FRN.iQ), cash flow optimization (Cash Management.iQ) and security (ATMeye.iQ) solutions at the exhibition of the latest banking technologies. An integrated hardware and software ATMeye.iQ is recognized worldwide and secures 75 thousand self-service devices in different countries.

The ATMIA US Conference is held by the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA), which aims at the development of the industry. Currently this international non-profit organization unites over 10,000 members representing 650 organizations from 66 countries, including ATM manufacturers and software integrators as well as individuals, financial institutions, product suppliers, consulting firms, etc.
