Penki kontinentai Presented Its Solutions for Banks and Retail at the Forum in Tashkent

The international PLUS-Forum “Banks and Retail. Digital Transformation and Interaction” finished its work in Tashkent. The event was attended by over 300 specialists from the banking and payment industry, heads of retail chains and wholesale companies, representatives of consulting and research agencies, IT and integrator companies, as well as leading experts of the region's financial industry. The forum participants discussed the current challenges and problems facing the digital development of the financial sector of Uzbekistan and shared their best practices in solving them.

 

 

PLUS-Forum Tashkent 2021: Banks and Retail


The BS/2 team (member of the Penki Kontinentai group) took part in the forum with our solutions for the banking sector Cash Management.iQService Desk.iQVynamic Marketing, and also presented solutions for the retail sector from our partner Qingdao CCL. Another participant of the forum was ASHBURN International, which is also a member of the Penki Kontinentai group. ASHBURN International presented the specialized software solution for managing EFTPOS terminals and routing transactions TransLink.iQ and its new capabilities for working with Android EFTPOS terminals.

"Today, the development of the financial sector of Uzbekistan is proceeding at a tremendous pace, while the country is guided by innovations and the successful experience of other countries in the region. We are confident that our solutions, which have successfully proven their effectiveness in different countries of the world, including Uzbekistan, will expand the possibilities of remote banking service channels in the country, allow creating a new technological landscape in the banking and retail sectors, and thereby accelerate the development of these industries."

The special interest of the forum participants was aroused by the ATM of the new Diebold Nixdorf line - DN Series, presented at the BS/2 stand. This self-service device is distinguished by an innovative design and, due to its technical features, provides wide opportunities for the development of additional functionality on terminals, in particular, self cash collection of small businesses and individuals. The BS/2 software solutions ProFlex4, Vynamic Marketing, Payments.iQ, FCX.iQ, and a specialized software solution for carrying out mobile cardless transactions at ATMs allow implementing new capabilities on terminals.

Specialized Seminar "Self-Service Banking and Cash Transactions in a Modern Bank"

During a working trip to Uzbekistan, BS/2 specialists with the support of the Uzbekistan Banking Association held in Tashkent a specialized seminar "Self-service Banking and Cash Transactions in a Modern Bank". BS/2 is one of the leaders in the development of a self-service banking channel in the country and has vast experience in this area throughout the region.

During the seminar, Deputy CEO for Strategic Directions Development at BS/2 Kirill Ovsyannikov, and an expert in cash management with 15 years of experience in this area in the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Zaur Yusifov spoke about modern solutions for the banking self-service channel and ways to optimize the processes and costs of managing cash circulation at cashpoints. In particular, they discussed with the participants of the seminar the following issues and ways to solve them:

· Use of cash recycling technology;
· Modern practices of processing cash in cash centers;
· Improving the quality of transportation and distribution of cash;
· The best practices in ensuring security during the transportation of valuables;
· Modern solutions to optimize cash circulation in the bank.

The event was attended by employees of self-service terminals support services, specialists from cash departments, and representatives of CIT companies - more than 40 people in total.

"Holding such specialized seminars has already become a good tradition of our company," says Kirill Ovsyannikov.
