Ulugbek Tavakkalov: "Businesses need to be able to turn over cash quickly and get money into accounts instantly"

Published: 22 October 2021 y., Friday

On October 15 the Eurasian Forum "Cash Circulation. Technologies - 2021" was held in Tashkent. The event brought together representatives of the regional banking industry and international experts. The trend towards automation and optimization of cash flows was the main topic of discussion at the forum.

"It's a great way to reduce and simplify the work of cashiers, cashier-controllers and all the people who deal with cash circulation. We are seeing today that ATMs are becoming smart - it's not just handing out cash. We see that in order to reduce collection costs, it's important to learn how to work with recyclers. We see that programs that service ATMs, such as Cash Management.iQ, help reduce collection costs. We see that businesses need to quickly deposit cash and instantly get money to the account," said Ulugbek Tavakkalov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Tenge Bank.

BS/2 representatives delivered two presentations at the forum. Kirill Ovsiannikov, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development of BS/2, spoke on "Technology Development in the Cash Circulation Field. Experience of TBC Bank and other banks."

Anton Valinčius, Director of BS/2 Uzbekistan, talked about the automation of cash processing and how to simplify the work of cashiers at the bank branch level.

We suggest you watch a short video about the forum and listen to what other participants of the event had to say.
