With over 20 years industry experience, Caroline work in most disciplines of the meetings and events world. Caroline well established the EMEA Travel, Meetings & Events Department at Cisco Systems before spending 5 years heading up the Conference & Events Team at Roche Products Ltd. before setting up Eventful Solutions – a meetings and events consultancy as well as co-launching Compliant Venues – an independent consultancy providing accreditation and training solutions to meeting venues to help build business with the healthcare sector. Caroline has served on the UK Board and the MPI International Board of Directors. This session is designed for those who are involved in planning meetings and events and conferences but perhaps not as their core job. Learn about the key stages in the event planning and management process from setting objectives for the event, key planning stages as well as advice about ensure that the logistics and various resources need are used to effect and can in some way be measured and evaluated.
